We're better together:

Our streets won't improve unless we all work together to make it happen. Our active volunteers, working as local groups, in locations across the UK make sure the Living Streets message is heard at the local level. Our donors provide vital funding for our national campaign to create safe, attractive and enjoyable streets. Our local authority and corporate supporters represent the professionals shape many of our streets and public spaces. By joining us you will add your name to thousands of others and help us to build a real community for change.

We want individuals, businesses and local authorities to work together with us. We know that the only way that we'll get safe, attractive and enjoyable streets all over the UK is by working together.

  • Donations from our supporters are enabling us to campaign nationally for 20mph limits in built-up areas
  • Newcastle City Council became our first Gold Local Authority Member and have now adopted a 20mph limit and been nominated for two national awards for our joint work.
  • In Islington, our local group fed their views, on behalf of pedestrians, into the Movement and Public Space Strategy for the development of the Kings Cross area
  • In Southwark, street improvements were identified through Living Streets’ Choice and Liveability project which directly engaged with local residents
